I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God's hands, that I still possess. — Martin Luther (1483-1546)
Brother O is a man of many stripes – a former corporate lawyer from an Ivy League school; he gave that up to go into public interest law where he felt he could make meaningful difference. He is also an award-winning poet, and a playwright with some of his plays having received productions in New York City (under his secular name). He has been a Christian since childhood but lost his way for a number of years. Professionally his life seemed fine; personally it was a shambles. He wandered aimlessly in the wilderness of sin and shame. He recognized that he was his own worst enemy by living a life apart from God’s will but like all of us, was helpless trying to save himself. He started calling on God and Jesus Christ. Salvation came at a steep price but is nothing compared to the joy of his restoration in Christ. He now pursues a life of total submission and surrender to God and has never been happier. He devotes his time to Christian Spiritual and charity matters, including being a spiritual counselor and mentor. He is a husband, a father and a grandfather.
